It’s usually best to approach an area in alternating vertical stripes, enabling you to avoid going over the same spot twice or treading dirt back onto previously cleaned areas.

Although every model of scrubber is slightly different, some broad principles can apply. When you’re trying to adjust the squeegee, disconnect the vacuum hose. Then you can turn the lock nut counterclockwise — do this until the adjustment bolt can freely move. You’re then able to shift the squeegee to the desired height or angle or even remove it for replacement as necessary.
